The virtual summer school with the title Conquering the world with modern business concepts will last from 11th June to 9th July. We will offer 5 courses:
• Intercultural management
• Marketing
• Social entreprise
• Intellectual property
• Virtually Mobile and Competent Teachers
The course Intercultural management will have a leading role in the virtual summer school. It will represent “a meeting point” for all students taking part in the summer school. For this reason we will organize an international week Intercultural Awareness - if it Cannot be Taught it Can be Learned, (26thd June – 2nd July) and offer interesting lectures and webinars for our students and teachers. Studenst will receive 1 ECTS point for successfully completing the international week.
In 2011 there were 244 students taking part in the virtual summer school from 21 countries.
Students and tutor meet in a virtual learning environment, where you will also find all resources, guidelines and forums. Active participation in the international week will enable you to:
• raise your intercultural awareness;
• gain confidence in intercultural dialogue;
• learn how to adapt your way of communicating to interactions in multicultural situations.
The following experts will join us:
• Claus Hipp, PhD., is one of the current owners of family businesses Hipp and pioneers of organic farming. Claus Hipp is known for healthy baby food. But the entrepreneur with the friendly smile is lot more. He is with the same passion a painter and a musician, a professor of art and a lecturer.
• Elena Aramendia, Msc, Lecturer of Marketing and Market Research at University of Navarre, Spain. Her expertise lies in consumer behaviour in an international environment, international management, E-marketing and e-business.
• Mia Miše, Msc, owner of a company in Slovenia, expert in the fields of business, PR and marketing, hotel management and tourism.
